The devices whose reading holds back the removal of a device’s rounds
(past_below): every device that counts (counted), whose notes say how
far it read (none in the folder: nothing read, everything held back; a
hostile folder hiding them never makes a round go), and a file of notes
alone whose notes say it read within SILENT_DAYS (a device whose entry
has not come yet: plain notes only ever hold more back). Never a device
that left, that you forgot, that another replaces, or silent for
SILENT_DAYS by sealed facts, whatever its notes say: until 16 October
2026 every device whose plain notes were heard within 180 days held them
back, a phone dead for good among them, and nothing of the others’ left
the folder for half a year.
