Why a notification comes now or waits.
Variants§
Untouched
Never held: calls, alarms, what runs, the reminders you set.
Code
A code, a sign-in or a payment to approve.
Times
As you chose for this app or conversation at this time (its own row in the matrix).
Off
Holding is off.
AtOnce
The app or the site comes at once.
Allowed
Someone who may reach you now.
Always
A conversation let through always.
Waiting
Someone who may not reach you now: until they may.
Gathered
From an automaton: at the next gathered time.
Never
Held for good: blocked, or a conversation set to never.
Again
Held again and again within minutes on its return: let through.
Answered
A conversation you answered from a computer in the last twenty
minutes (replies::answered_lately): let through, but in a pause.
Released
Held before a release you asked (Reachable pressed, or “Let what your phone holds through” on a computer: part 3): let through once.
