pub struct Request {}Expand description
A text to send, as a computer writes it.
Fields§
§key: StringRandom, 32 hex digits: the text’s one name everywhere.
phone: StringThe phone it must leave from (its name in the sharing).
to: StringThe number, as written; the phone keys it.
body: String§sub: i32The SIM (sub_id); -1: the conversation’s last, else the phone’s default.
written: i64When it was written (ms, the writer’s clock).
ahead: i64How far the writer’s clock may run ahead of the phone’s (ms): the least of the gaps the writer saw between the phone’s entry’s time and its own clock when that entry came, over the last day; an upper bound, transit included, so a request looks older, never younger. 0 unknown.
again: StringThe key of the request it sends again, when it does.
media: Vec<Medium>A multimedia message’s media, in their order (docs/texts.md,
“Multimedia messages sent from a computer”): each a sealed blob of the
sharing, which travels ahead of the request. Its words are then in
words and body stays empty, so that a phone whose Sioul predates
them refuses it (“empty”) rather than sending its words alone.
words: StringA multimedia message’s words.
also: Vec<String>A group’s other numbers, beside to (a later step: refused, “several”, until then).
writer: StringThe device that wrote it, its name in the sharing, sealed with it
(write_request), as a reply’s is: a line read from another
device’s file than its writer’s is passed over (read_requests), so
that nothing (the server, a stray file) moves a request from one
device’s name to another’s; the phone sends only for a device the
sharing counts (verdict). Empty in a request of a Sioul before 19
October 2026: judged by its file’s device while this phone’s ledger
says writers were not checked yet when it was written (Mark::writers),
refused after.
device: StringThe device that wrote it: its sealed writer, else its file’s name. Never written.
Implementations§
Source§impl Request
impl Request
Sourcepub fn multimedia(&self) -> bool
pub fn multimedia(&self) -> bool
Whether it is a multimedia message: media of its own.
Sourcepub fn said_words(&self) -> &str
pub fn said_words(&self) -> &str
Its words, a text’s or a multimedia message’s.
