Struct Departed

Source
pub(crate) struct Departed {
    rounds: BTreeMap<String, u32>,
    blobs: BTreeMap<String, i64>,
    devices: BTreeMap<String, RemovedDevice>,
}
Expand description

What a device took out of its folder of the devices that no longer count by a sealed fact (they left, you forgot them, another device replaces them), as its last exchange said (share::departed_past, share::swept_theirs): each one’s rounds below a round, and the sealed files it wrote that no record names any more, swept, with when. Never fetched here again; taken out of the server at a listing (beside a sync app, Sender; Sioul keeping the folder itself, Puller::push), each over what is there as it is now (If-Match): a sync app, or another device doing the same, makes it gone (404) or changed (412), and it is left.

Fields§

§rounds: BTreeMap<String, u32>§blobs: BTreeMap<String, i64>§devices: BTreeMap<String, RemovedDevice>

The devices whose files you removed here (“Remove its files”, share::removed_devices): their rounds before the last are below rounds; their last round while no longer than it was, and each small file of theirs that went (claims, texts to send, the entry and the note of how far it read when they went too) still as it was last seen there (State::files: never one it wrote since), are not fetched again, and taken out when gone here (removed_as_known).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Departed

Source

fn load(memory: &Path, own: &str) -> Departed

Source

fn removed_as_known( &self, relative: &str, item: &Item, known: &BTreeMap<String, Fetched>, ) -> bool

Whether a file there is one that went with a removed device’s files as it had it when you removed them: its last round no longer than it was then (share::RemovedDevice::holds_round; those before by the floor, past_round), its claims, its texts to send, its entry and its note when they went too, still as known last saw them there. One it wrote since (a device still in use goes on writing) is not.

Source

fn past_round(&self, relative: &str) -> bool

Whether a file of the folder is a round past its time of a device that no longer counts.

Source

fn swept(&self, name: &str) -> bool

Whether a sealed file (its name in blobs/) was swept here as such a device’s.
