Support Sioul¶

Sioul is free to use, with no account, no advertising and no tracker, and it stays that way. It is made by one person, in the open, and it is how that person earns a living from it, or fails to: the free software I have published since 2012 earned me about one year of an engineer's net salary over seven years. I am done wasting my health for so little.

If Sioul takes some admin off your shoulders, you can pay for that work. You do not have to, and nothing changes if you do not.

Ways to give¶

• Every month: Liberapay. The platform takes no commission (only the payment processor's fees apply), and the amount is yours to choose and to change.
• Once: PayPal. A card is enough, no account needed.

What it does and does not do¶

Your gift pays for years of work already done and for the time to keep Sioul going. There are no tiers, no gated features, no badge and no early access: everyone gets the same Sioul. A star on GitHub or a kind word is welcome, but it does not pay the rent.

Other ways to help¶

• Report a problem or a wish in GitHub issues.
• Tell someone for whom admin is a weight.
• Read or improve the code: see the developers' section.
